わたしの本には、2種類の呼吸の本があります。
◯静かな本
ひとりで読む、余白ごと閉じ込めた本。
「自分がぼく」。
ひとりで静かにページをめくり、
あなた自身の感情と寄り添う。
余白や、
言葉になりきらない気持ちごと、
そのままここに閉じ込めています。
◯一緒にいる本
誰かのいる場所に置く、やさしい本。
「ぼくを見守る誰か」になれる。
近くに誰かがいる空間に、
そっと置かれることを想像して生まれました。
家のリビング、
お店の片隅、
子どもの頃の自分の部屋に。

My books come in two different ways of breathing.

Books to read alone,
quietly holding what words cannot.
You become “Boku.”
Turning the pages quietly,
you sit with your own feelings.
The spaces between the words,
and the feelings that never quite become words,
are kept here just as they are.
◯ Companion Books
Books for shared spaces.
You become someone
who quietly watches over “Boku.”
They were created
for places where people gather.
A living room.
A corner of a small shop.
A childhood bedroom.
